DETAIL
Advanced Zircon-Mullite combo for demanding thermal applications!
The **ZZM-P Series Refractory Brick** is a high-performance ceramic material designed for critical high-temperature applications. Made by combining zircon and sub-mullite under pressing, these bricks offer superior structural integrity, precise dimensional accuracy, and uniform density, which makes them ideal for constructing essential furnace components such as roofs, floors, walls, crowns, and tank superstructures. With an operating temperature range of 1650°C to 1700°C, they can withstand extreme heat while maintaining performance. Their low iron content ensures minimal impurities, optimizing both functional and economic performance. The production process adheres to international standards, enabling the ZZM-P Series to compete globally in terms of quality and cost-effectiveness.
The versatility of the ZZM-P Series extends beyond its technical advantages. It can be customized based on client requirements, and fast production times help overcome foreign procurement challenges, making it easier to establish long-term collaborations. Key applications include borosilicate glass production, crown construction, neutral layers, severe-corrosion areas, and tank superstructures.
Zircon and zircon-mullite are critical components in the ZZM-P Series, providing exceptional thermal stability and mechanical strength. Zircon (ZrSiO₄), composed primarily of zirconia and silica, offers high resistance to heat and thermal conductivity, with a melting point around 2,500°C. When combined with mullite (Al₂O₃·2SiO₂), zircon forms a composite material with enhanced strength, thermal shock resistance, and refractoriness. Pressed zircon-mullite bricks, which exhibit high density, compressive strength (up to 800 kg/cm²), and refractoriness under load (RUL) of 1650–1700°C, are ideal for use in glass furnaces, steel mills, ceramics, and foundries. Together, zircon and zircon-mullite offer a reliable solution for industries requiring superior thermal and mechanical performance.
